1. "Remember When" by Alan Jackson

Alan Jackson wrote "Remember When" by himself, and with good reason. The deeply personal song, out in 2003, is about his life with his wife Denise, whom he wed in 1979. Denise also appears in the very autobiographical song, which even touches on their brief separation earlier in their marriage, along with having three girls

"Denise and I met as kids, and all that's true," Jackson

"I've had so many comments saying, 'That's one of my favorite songs,' or 'That's our song,'" he adds. "I have so many couples come up and say, 'That's our song.'...It connected with a certain audience, I guess."

2. "Bless The Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts

Sometimes it takes a heartbreak to find true love. It's a truth Rascal Flatts so eloquently point out in "Bless The Broken Road." The song, written by Marcus Hummon, Bobby Boyd and Jeff Hanna, was released by Rascal Flatts in 2004. The song says in part, "Every long lost dream led me to where you are / Others who broke my heart, they were like Northern stars / Pointing me on my way into your loving arms / This much I know is true / That God blessed the broken road that led me straight to you."

"I had the storyline in my spirit, and I was trying to figure it out," Boyd tells The Tennessean. "I told it to Marcus one night over drinks, just how divorce and all these things bring you somewhere, and then God uses that to take you where you're supposed to go. And then a couple months later, Marcus came back and played me something."

That something was the beginning of "Bless The Broken Road." To date, the song remains one of the biggest hits of Rascal Flatts' career.

3. "Better Together" by Luke Combs

For the couple who is just starting to fall in love, there isn't a better song that "Better Together" by Luke Combs, along with Dan Isbell and Randy Montana. The song says, "Sometimes we're oil and water / But I wouldn't have it any other way / And if I'm being honest / Your first and my last name / Would just sound better together and probably always will / Like a cup of coffee and a sunrise, Sunday drives and time to kill."

"I wrote this song in Boone, [North Carolina], probably two years ago, something like that. And my buddies Dan Isbell and Randy Montana were up there," Combs tells ABC. "'Beautiful Crazy' was already done and out at that time, so I kind of felt like I needed to do another song that was kind of [in that vein]."

4. "I'm Gonna Love You" by Cody Johnson and Carrie Underwood

When a relationship has gone the distance, and a couple is still in love, that's definitely worth celebrating. Cody Johnson and Carrie Underwood's recent "I'm Gonna Love You" proves that point. The lyric says in part "Time's gonna put a few lines on our face / We can cover it up but hair's gonna grey / Life's gonna fly and be gone too soon / And I'm gonna love you / Baby, I'm gonna love you."

"I'm Gonna Love You" is written by Travis Denning, Kelly Archer and Chris Stevens.

"We wanted to make sure that it was not only for your significant other, but to your children, to anybody you love, to your parents, whoever," Archer explains to Billboard.
