After hosting an event at the Le Bar à Vin in Palm Beach, Mark Morrison left in a mood. He has been performing with another popular artist. During the show, the restaurant manager said Mark Morrison had repeatedly told staff to turn up the volume.
The restaurant manager eventually stepped in and turned the music down. The R&B singer took this as a slight and decided to do something about it the next day. "Mark Morrison came back on Saturday night looking for a fight," nightlife manager Fabrizio Riillo said.
The next day, Mark Morrison stormed into the restaurant and started to cuss out the restaurant manager. The altercation turned nasty as Mark Morris shoved the member of staff. He got no rise from him and was restrained. The police arrived, and pictures from the scene showed him being taken away in cuffs.
He posted his $1000 bail and will be expected to appear in court on April 15 at the Palm Beach County Courthouse in West Palm Beach.
Not The First Run-In With The Law For Mark Morrison
The '90s R&B singer has had his fair few legal issues in the past. Shoving the restaurant manager is just the latest in a number of misdemeanors. His first, back in 1997, was due to trying to bring a firearm onboard a plane. He served three months in jail.
Later, he was detained in the UK after failing to appear in court in Barbados. This was also as result of possessing an offensive weapon. Finally, Mark Morrison was sentenced to a year in jail for one of the most mischievous crimes of all.
After being sentenced to community service, Mark Morris hired a lookalike to do it for him. He received a year in jail for the simple and ineffective plan. Now, he is in trouble yet again for allegedly attacking the Palm Beach restaurant manager.
He will make his case and face the consequences of his fiery temper. But the man just loves his music, and needs it to be played at high volume. Is that such a crime?
