Per Pop Culture, star Willie Robertson reportedly said there is "a new version" of the popular A&E show in the pipeline. Robertson came out with that revelation on The Tucker Carlson Show recently. He said that he along with family members are "getting back in production" on the latest installment of Duck Dynasty. It supposedly highlights "the next generation." The original program began in March of 2012 and concluded in April of 2017. There were 131 episodes.

It Seems Like A Good Time To Robertson To Bring Back 'Duck Dynasty'
Per the outlet, Robertson said, "So my kids are older. Well, 2017 to 2024... a lot's happened. The cast has grown up. So yeah, back with A&E, we met, and they said, 'Hey, are you guys interested in kinda redoing the show?' And it felt like the time was right... met with the family, prayed about it, and said, 'Yeah, I think so.' The kids were excited."

Roberson was clearly very touched and gratified by the impact the show had. He told Tucker Carlson via Pop Culture, "When you talk to people, and they tell you how much that meant to them... I can't tell you how many people who are like, 'Me and my dad used to watch together,' or 'My mom passed away and it was the only thing we could laugh at together.'"
He elaborated, "It's really inspiring [and] it's good to make something that, especially when it came out originally, it was pretty much a bright light among a lot of, you know, some dark stuff out there."
