Fast forward to today. The superstar is clad in a sophisticated pink dress and high heels and strides confidently on the same stage, except now Underwood is an Idol winner and judge.

Whoever put this promo together really knew what they were doing. It's practically a tear-jerker. The clip flashes back to Underwood years ago being told by one of the judges, "Welcome to Hollywood!" She is stunned and exclaims, "Oh my gosh!" Then today, she says, "I can't believe it. Twenty years ago, I was standing on a stage just like this one."
