It's been a year for the record books for Bronwyn Keith-Hynes as she goes from one huge life event to another. She married her husband and co-fiddler, Jason Carter released her first album, I Built A World, played the CMA awards, and received a Grammy nomination.

In a year that would leave anyone exhausted, we talk to the powerhouse of bluegrass, Bronwyn Keith-Hynes, and check in to see how she's still standing.
"From releasing I Built A World, to your CMA performance, your wedding, and now a Grammy nomination all punctuated by constant gigs, how have you kept yourself going through it all?" I asked.
"I don't know. I just trying to focus on one thing at a time, you know? Whatever I'm doing at that moment I'm trying to just be focused on. Because it would sometimes get really overwhelming when I think about everything. We were trying to plan the wedding and I was on tour and my album was coming out and it was a lot at times. I mean even now I've still got gig after gig after gig coming up like next year. I've been the most tired I've ever been in my life this year. But, I'm not complaining, you know. It's all good. I'm doing everything I want to be doing and more. I just try to you know try to eat well and get as much sleep as I can and go on walks. That actually usually gives me the energy."
A Year Of Highlights For Bronwyn Keith-Hynes
One success after another has filled Bronwyn Keith-Hynes year. From releasing her album on her indie label to getting married, and of course, a Grammy nomination. However, I wanted to know just what really stood out for her, besides her wedding, of course.
"I mean, definitely the morning I found out about the Grammy nomination for myself was incredible. You know, I really didn't take it seriously that that was even a possibility for me, you know, because I put out my record independently. I never really thought that you hardly see any independent records up for Grammys. I was totally shocked" Bronwyn Keith-Hynes remembered.
"Also I had some really great times on the road with Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway this year. We did a really standout tour in August with The Infamous Stringdusters. It was just really fun and inspiring to be on the road with a band that's kind of your heroes."
Picking just one highlight of a year as full of success and progression as Bronwyn Keith-Hynes has been is impossible. Hopefully, this is just a sign of things to come, and her upward trajectory continues.
