According to a report by TMZ, Jordan's security team spotted an intruder in the front yard on Wednesday afternoon. The team promptly escorted the trespasser away from the garden, called the LAPD, and waited for them to arrive. There are no details regarding the suspect's behavior or if they were violent.
In a bizarre twist, the man tried to claim they were part of the security team themselves. Unfortunately, this elaborate ruse wasn't as clever as the intruder thought, and authorities quickly determined that he wasn't supposed to be there.
It's worth noting that the suspect and the Creed III lead actor never saw each other face to face. This disturbing trend of unwanted intruders showing up at celebrities' houses is nothing new this year. The US Express reported on another trespassing incident at Brook's Nader's home as recently as November. The incident occurred shortly after the star's rather public breakup with Gleb Savchenko following several odd TikTok posts.
Michael B. Jordan's Security Team Will Press Charges
According to the report, when the LAPD arrived, the security team just wanted to get the suspect off the premises. The authorities took the intruder's details and released him shortly afterward without escalating the incident.
Interestingly, it seems the team changed their minds shortly afterward and wish to press charges after all. As the LAPD already has all the information, this will likely happen sooner rather than later. We're unsure what prompted this change of heart, but it seems the security team wants to ensure it doesn't happen again.
TMZ also mentions that "Detectives will conduct their investigation and then forward the case to prosecutors for possible charges."
While the incident would upset many people, Jordan seems pretty unfazed by the ordeal and is as cool as a cucumber. He's pretty active on social media platforms like Instagram, which has not changed. Jordan recently posted a clip from a football match, and it's business as usual on his timeline.
