Apparently, what Rachael Ray has with her husband wasn't exactly love at first sight. That's totally fine and normal, every relationship is a little different. Oftentimes, people need to slowly get to know one another before that sort of love blossoms. After a while, the attraction grows physically and emotionally. Attributes that you didn't notice before become irresistible later. However, it's a different thing entirely to think that you and your partner aren't even sexually compatible with another at first.

Recently, Rachael appears on an episode of Tommy DiDario's I've Never Said This Before podcast. There, she candidly speaks about her love story with her husband John Cusimano back in 2001. However, it's not quite the rosy romantic tale that you might expect. Contrarily, it leans closer into rom-com territory with how absurd their connection is at first. "The first time I saw my husband, I thought he was gay and I tried to set him up on a date with a male friend of mine," Rachael recalls. "And he said, 'But I am not gay.'"

Right after Cusimano reveals he's not gay at all, Ray's eyes immediately widen and she decides she wants John all to herself. "Then I was like, 'Check, please' and I couldn't wait to get him in the sack," Rachael grins. "It was [a memorable evening] and he is a very blessed man."
Then, the TV chef and personality continues her playful teasing about her sex life with her husband. It never teeters into TMI territory but she does leave plenty to the imagination for those that are curious. "I had to buy two different sized suits for our wedding from Prada because his jacket was one size and his trouser was another," Rachael jokes. "I certainly am — I am a very lucky lady."
