I don't really know how or why, but The Wiggles seem to keep clawing their way into my headlines. The hit kids show is going strong after all these years, and is even now collaborating with musical stars such as Dasha.

Although the internet has not been kind to this collaboration.
Releasing on March 7, The Wiggles will be releasing their country album, Wiggle Up, Giddy Up - with Friends!. The album will have 17 new songs and feature many musical stars. Dolly Parton, Lainey Wilson, Morgan Evans, Jackson Dean, and others, including Dasha, have songs with The Wiggles.
I don't know how they managed to pull this off. Although I know those kids won't appreciate the talent that's been pumped into this album. Us adults can only dream of such a star-studded album. Shame.
To tease the album early, The Wiggles have released one of their tracks, the namesake "Wiggle Up, Giddy Up,: which they worked on with Dasha. It is available on streaming services and they posted a clip to their TikTok.
Although the tune is catchy, and it makes for a brilliant kid's song, the internet has gone hard on Dasha. I think it's admirable for her to be making songs for children. Although they've been spoiled with this album, getting them on good music that's not just nursery rhymes can only be a good thing.
Internet Reacts To Dasha Collabing With The Wiggles
Although it's a strange collab, sure, I don't think it deserves the hate it's getting. People have taken to the comments to share their thoughts.
"Rent was DUE this month," one mocks, saying that Dasha couldn't not accept the gig due to financial problems.
"Why is this her best song," one comments. I heavily suspect this may be sarcasm, although there's a chance this user is just a huge fan of Giddy Up, Wiggle Up.
"A collab I never knew I didn't need... and still don't," another slams. They may not need it because they're likely not a child. You know, the target audience.
"This is kind of where she deserves to be," writes another, which again, I can only assume to be sarcasm.
Not everyone is piling in on the hate. Since the TikTok video has had more time to breathe, more fans have expressed their thoughts.
"I've never been more ready for this country wiggles album," writes an excited adult.
