Trump Calls Up Kid Rock Over Joke About Strippers At Inaugural Performance

I hope you had a chance to see Kid Rock, 54, who gave an all-out, raucous, freewheeling performance at the Victory Rally for President Donald Trump at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., on Sunday afternoon. The event preceded Monday's Inauguration of President Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance. But there is an interesting side note to Sunday's Kid Rock performance. It is being reported by Taste Of Country and other outlets that Trump called Kid Rock "to inquire whether a comment he made publicly about the Secret Service banning him from having strippers at his performance was legit," per the outlet.

You might think that being on the verge of being sworn in for the second time as the leader of the free world would have occupied Trump to the exclusion of just about everything else. Yet he apparently cared about this enough to ask his friend about it.

Kid Rock Reportedly Shared This Information On Television Last Friday

He Was A Guest On 'Fox & Friends'

Kid Rock said on Fox & Friends via Taste Of Country, "Friday morning I got a call from the President and Melania and it was kind of mind-blowing, I've tried to leave him alone, he's got a lot on his plate, I would think, right now."

Rock continued, "He [Trump] called and he goes, 'Did the Secret Service really tell you that you can't use strippers?,' recalled Rock, to which he responded, 'No, sir, I was just joking around.'"

Trump reportedly replied, "Ah, that's funny."

The performer seemed to share in the euphoria now being felt by many Trump loyalists. With Trump now installed in office, they are expecting great things and momentous changes. Rock mentioned on Fox & Friends via Taste Of Country, "It feels like the rebirth of our nation. There's just this feeling, and you've heard it a million times before, that America's back."

Rock also appeared last summer at the Republican National Convention.

He reportedly met with Pam Bondi, who is the nominee for Attorney General, about troublesome issues with concert ticketing, according to the outlet.
