It's been a few years since the coaches of The Voice sang together, and bringing the tradition back with 'Tiny Dancer' was an instant winner.

The judges solidified their presence for season 27 of the show by belting out the classic Elton John ballad. Adam Levine made his presence known by hitting the high notes, reminding everyone who's boss. But all of the other coaches put in a great performance, too.
The excited viewership of The Voice was introduced to this year's panel of coaches. We saw Michael Bublé, John Legend, Adam Levine, and all-new coach Kelsea Ballerini. Each of them had the chance to show their worth as a coach on The Voice, by covering 'Tiny Dancer.'
The audience was invited to get involved with the show, too, providing the lighting for the event. Each of the members was given a little light to wave around, consequently turning the crowd into a sea of stars. The heartfelt song had every arm in the room waving along.
'Tiny Dancer' Is A Well Loved Classic For 'The Voice' Coaches
There is a whole world of music to choose from that would complement the varied vocal talents of the new coaches. But, 'Tiny Dancer' was the one they went for to introduce season 27 of The Voice. It makes sense too.
There is quite a range this year. Of course, Bublé has his jazzy vocals that worm their way into our brains every Christmas. Adam Levine has that wild vocal control he made Maroon 5 so famous with, and John Legend is a one-of-a-kind soul singer. This year, country music gets its representative, with the country-pop twang of Ballerini. Elton John, the man, the legend, writes songs that can be covered by any genre. Also, they pose a challenge for even the best of the best. But, I think they did it justice.
Speaking to NBC Insider, Jegend explained that using 'Tiny Dancer' to introduce The Voice judges was an exciting proposal. "We all love Elton; we're all big fans of Elton. I've performed in tributes for Elton, I've performed with Elton over the years, and I'm excited that we're all gonna be singing this amazing, beautiful song. It's gonna be great."
If you're a fan of the saccharine eye-gazing that goes on during these shows, give it a watch. You'll love it.
