Woman’s Stanley Cup Stopped Her From Getting Shot

It turns out Stanley Cups are as strong as they're advertised.

Only one thing is as important to Americans as defending their guns, and it's defending their coffee. Stanly Cups, which has swept the world of white suburban moms like a firestorm, combined two and two. They made their overpriced mugs bulletproof, or at least they would appear so.

As 22-year-old Rachael points out, her Stanley Cup saved her life from a stray bullet. Outside her house in Steubenville, Ohio, there had been a gunfight. The short video shows the entry hole in the door and the grazed Stanley Cup beside her seat.

The amount of damage to the Stanley Cup by the stray gunshot is minimal too. They really do make them well. It's probably all that lead they have in them.

Random gunfire in the US isn't all that uncommon. It's never a bad idea to carry as many bulletproof items on your person as possible. These Stanley Cups are a great choice too. Not only will they deflect strays, but you can also carry a hot beverage around in them.

Bulletproof Stanley Cup Is The Perfect Marketing Tool

The lucky bullet deflection by the Stanley Cup has got people talking. It isn't just the 6 million views she got on the TikTok video either. JacksFilms on YouTube also covered the situation with an animated short.

Comments on both show people's reactions to the life-saving coffee mug. "This is why my whole school has Stanleys," a YouTuber comments. "Welcome to America where water bottles are stronger than your houses," another points out.

Rachael spoke to the New York Post about her harrowing ordeal. "We just hid until the police arrived and told them to come collect the bullet," she said after the gunfight had occurred. She still managed to compose herself enough to post the viral video to TikTok though.

This isn't the first case of a Stanley Cup surviving through difficult situations either. Recently, a woman watched her car burn itself to cinders. The video she posted after the fact showed the gutted remains of her vehicle. The only thing left standing was her immortal Stanley Cup.
