The Super Bowl was only a couple of weeks ago, and Carrie Underwood fans are already petitioning for her to perform at the next one.

The American Idol winner-turned-judge has recently been at the heart of cultural controversy as she performed at Trump's inauguration. Her left-leaning fans were not happy whatsoever and threatened to boycott American Idol and all of her music.
Well, her fans (the remainder of them, anyway) are now already making a move to get Underwood to perform at next year's Super Bowl. From an inauguration to the Super Bowl, I don't think there are many entries higher on the 'famous singer bucket list.'
The next Super Bowl is a pretty special one, as it's the 60th one. We humans love our tidy numbers, so I'm sure the 60th anniversary of the biggest sporting event will be an important one. The Super Bowl halftime performance will have to be an awesome one.
Also, I know she sang the national anthem at a Super Bowl, but that's nothing compared to performing at the halftime show.
American Country Music Chatter began the movement. They called upon fans to use the "#CUsuperbowl" to generate internet virality. I'm pessimistic about the success of this movement.
The attention span of the internet is a fragile one, so I imagine this will get dropped and forgotten until we creep closer to next year's Super Bowl.
