Ozzy Osbourne's battle with Parkinson's remains one of the sadder stories in music right now. The Black Sabbath lead still has so much fire in his life but the physical grind is something he can't seem to deal with right now. The Osbourne family has been pretty quiet about this whole experience. They aren't the kind of people to broadcast every single thing they experience. However, now, they're moving with a little bit of transparency with a new documentary.

Recently, Peacock announced No Escape from Now, a documentary that details Ozzy Osbourne and his health journey. The film will share the family from 2019 into the present day where the "War Pigs" singer prepares for his final concert.
In a press statement captured by PEOPLE, Ozzy shares that recording new music is the only thing that drives him. It's what provides him solace when trying to manage the uncontrollable condition of Parkinson's. "The last six years have been full of some of the worst times I've been through. There's been times when I thought my number was up," Osbourne admits. "But making music and making two albums saved me. I'd have gone nuts without music."

His wife and manager Sharon adds that Ozzy's story will be brutally honest about his journey, the good and the bad alike. Consequently, they can hopefully inspire anyone going through similar battles. "It shows how hard things have been for him and the courage he has shown while dealing with a number of serious health issues, including Parkinson'," Osbourne says. "It's about the reality of his life now. We have worked with a production team we trust and have allowed them the freedom to tell the story openly. We hope that story will inspire people that are facing similar issues to Ozzy."
Currently, Ozzy is preoccupied with trying to provide the best possible show he can in his final outing with Black Sabbath. Ultimately, it's just a matter of having a proper sendoff for the fans that have been with him the entire way. "My fans have supported me for so many years, and I really want to thank them and say a proper goodbye to them. That is what the Villa Park show is about," Osbourne stresses in the statement.
