Jordan Davis is so grateful to have a friend in Luke Combs. Davis is opening up about their relationship, and why he considers Combs among his closest friends.

"One of my true buddies," Davis tells ABC Radio. "Man, he's been so good to me. It's cool. We're kind of in the same spot in life, with young ones and figuring this thing out. Luke does it at a much higher level than me. But, you know, it's been cool to kind of see that with him: becoming a dad and still figuring out how to tour and do it right. But man, just a great dude."
Combs gave Davis a huge boost to his career last year, when he invited Davis to open for him for some dates on his Growin' Up and Gettin' Old Tour.
"It's been cool to truly call him a friend and not just a guy I play some shows with," Davis says. "I mean I love him to death, man. He's one of the best out there."

Combs and his wife, Nicole, have two sons, Tex and Beau. Meanwhile, Davis and his wife, Kristen, have three children, and are expecting their fourth later this year. And according to Davis, their upcoming child will also be their last.
"No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no ... no," Davis insists to Taste of Country, when asked if they would consider having a fifth. "I'm telling you right now, it's over.
In fact, Davis admits that their new child, due in June, was a bit of a surprise for Davis and his wife.
"Me and Kristen weren't really trying to have another kid. It was one of those things, when she told me, I was like, 'Whatever.' ... The morning she told me, she was going on a girls trip, and she wakes up at like 4:45 AM to go to the airport. So when she comes into the room, I'm thinking she's just gonna be like 'Hey, I'm headed to the airport, I'll see ya in a couple of days.'"
Davis was already tired, and planned on sleeping in, when Kristen woke him up to deliver the news.
"At 4:45A she's like, 'Uhh ... I'm pregnant.'"
