It takes a certain type of person to withstand Super Bowl level booing. At least athletes try their best to block that out and focus on the game. But imagine having such a disdain from the audience that they jeer you while simply trying to watch. Taylor Swift was dealing with this a lot while she was supporting her man Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs. The NFL lay their coverage tight on her but usually, the crowd doesn't aggressively react towards her. However, during the Super Bowl, fans had enough. It didn't look like she folded under pressure though, as embarrassing as it was for her. It didn't go unnoticed by Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.

Recently, the Kansas City football mastermind sat down with Mike Florio and Chris Simms for the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. Obviously, they keep the conversation strictly to what goes on during the games. However, Swift has become synonymous with the Chiefs via her relationship with Travis Kelce. Consequently, Reid takes a moment to talk about Taylor and lauds her ability to block out all the noise. "She's a good girl. She handles that whole thing the right way, that's a tough deal. But she does a great job with handling it," he says.

Additionally, Andy Reid highlights that Kelce does a good job handling the pressures as well. He notes that families and relationships are just as prevalent into the football team as the on-field matters. So it's important that none of it becomes distracting or neglected respectively. "Kelce, I think, does a great job with handling it. She's part of the team and like the other girlfriends and wives, they're part of it. And that's all part of the process," Andy says.
Kelce may usually be able to juggle his relationship with Taylor and his football career alike like Reid notes. But reports suggest that the crowd booing his girlfriend really bothered him during the biggest game of the year. An insider for The Daily Mail claims that it really bothered the Kansas City great that he couldn't protect her from the fans' jeers. "Travis was aware of Taylor getting booed, and he felt helpless. Seeing the look on her face got to him," sources say. "He always protects her, and it broke his heart. He was already having a tough night, and the fact that the stadium was predominantly Eagles fans didn't help."
