Fans often have way too much dip when discussing what an artist does and doesn't do. Women in particular deal with a ridiculous amount of backlash for no sensible reason. Miranda Lambert is dealing with this right now, where something as simple as leggings just upsets people on the internet.

Recently, Lambert posted some pictures on Instagram, detailing her month of February. It covers everything from goats and yoga to horseback riding. It seems like business as usual, nothing worth exploring. However, one 'fan' takes exception to Miranda's attire. "Yikes, legging type pants are not attractive on people with a little extra here and there. They don't do you any favors," they comment. "You are too beautiful to display the unattractive parts," they continued. "I'm not a fan of leggings on anyone, actually. I've seen way more of a person's business than I wanted to. "

That's one of the lamest comments I think I'll ever end up reading. There's no risqué behavior on display, nothing offensive going on with Miranda. But still, the person complains over someone minding their business and living life. Lambert is liable to yell at dude for being even worse than a prude. However, she mostly plays off the comment as dumb absurdity worth laughing at instead. "Good to know! I'll do better about displaying my 'unattractive parts,'" she laughs on her Instagram story.
Thankfully, Miranda took it all in stride. It would be a real shame if she let some random stranger ruin her day because of something she can't really control. The only way to satisfy that commenter is to wear a nun's clothing. The fans come to her aid, defending her from such lame behavior. One fan emphasizes her own experience and how she can't control everything about her body. Consequently, Lambert shouldn't stress too much about it. "Wear leggings you are a beautiful woman," they stress. "I'm short and tend to have thighs regardless of my size and I wear leggings. I workout alot so my big muscular thighs are a badge of honor and I display them proudly."
