A penis surgery intended to give more girth to the meager member has killed a man after complications lead to a blockage in the lung.

The surgery the man underwent injects a substance into the tip of the penis. This is in an attempt to give it more 'body.' However, it doesn't have the best track record. The filler that was used can move around the body, blocking arteries and causing fatal repurcussions.
In this case, the jelly-like substance travelled from the injected area to the man's lungs, causing a pulmonary embolism. This is where a blockage happens in a critical blood vessel around the lung. In the post-mortem, it appeared the filler had been incorrectly injected.
Due to the botched procedure, the filler had pooled around his groin. From there, it had travelled to his heart, which had pumped it to his lungs. Initially the penis surgery had injected the substance into the tip of his penis. However, shortly after the operation, the Russian man began to experience breathing difficulties. The following morning, he died.
Penis Enlargment Surgery Comes With Risks
As with any surgery that includes injecting foreign substances into the body, there are associated risks.
"Even a small amount of damage to the vein as you're putting this filler in... that pressure forces some of that material into the vein." Charles Durrant, a consultant plastic surgeon at Ad Nova in Portsmouth, explained. "That material then travels back to the heart where it is then pumped into the lung."
This kind of complication isn't just exclusive to penis surgery either. It can happen with any kind of filler if done incorrectly. However, this Russian man is not the first person to die after trying to add a bit of weight to their manhood.
In 2019, Ehud Arye Laniado, an Belgian-Israeli billionaire, also died while undergoing penis enlargement surgery. He was also undergoing a procedure that injected a foreign substance into his junk in a desperate attempt to bulk it up.
Risks like this are especially high when the surgery is focussed on places like the penis. Due to the fact that there is an abnormally high amount of blood vessels in the area, there is also a higher risk of the filler traveling around the body.
