As he has for the past 11 years in a row, Nelson is headlining the Willie Nelson's 4th of July Picnic event, as shared on his socials. The event has been brought back to Austin, Texas, the country singer's home state.
There's nothing better than celebrating the 4th of July in your home state, aside from celebrating it with Willie Nelson, of course. As is typical, some major acts and names are also attending the concert. There'll be amazing music, fireworks, and good vibes. What more do you want?
The announcement for the event lists the names and acts you can expect to see. "Willie Nelson & Family, Bob Dylan, The Avett Brothers, The Mavericks, Asleep at the Wheel, and Tami Neilson" will be joining the festivities.
Per Whiskeyriff, Nelson himself said there's no reason for anyone not to be in attendance. "I'm 92 years old and I'll be there so you have no excuse. I look forward to bringing back my annual 4th of July Picnic to the city I love and sharing this special event with all my Austin fans."
