Craig Morgan and Blake Shelton have been friends for a long, long time. Few people know Shelton as well as Morgan, which is why Morgan is happy to poke fun at Shelton.

In a recent interview with Taste of Country, Morgan was asked who would win in a bare-knuckle fight.
"Oh, no question, I'm gonna win," Morgan boasts. "If he got three minutes in, I'd be surprised."
"He's soft, man. He's soft," the "Almost Home" singer continues. "He don't work hard anymore. He used to work hard. Now he just kind of rides the wagon."
Craig Morgan and Blake Shelton's Friendship
All kidding aside, few people in country music are as close as Morgan and Shelton. The two have plenty of time to get some friendly jabs in over the next few weeks while crossing the country together on Shelton's Friends and Heroes Tour. It's a tour Morgan almost declined, only because of the time frame. Fortunately, thanks to the all-star lineup, which also includes Trace Adkins, Deana Carter, and Emily Ann Roberts, Morgan accepted Shelton's invitation.
"I almost didn't do it just because of that," Morgan admits to American Songwriter. "But, it's Blake. And honest to God, Blake and Trace, of all the people in this business, those two guys are my closest friends. When we're together, it's as if we just left each other yesterday. If the three of us weren't in music, if we were construction workers, we would be drinking beer together and having wine together on the weekend."
Spending time with his friends is why Morgan ultimately agreed to the Friends & Heroes Tour in the first place.
"I'm excited to do this," Morgan says of the tour. "Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins are two of my best friends in this business. Blake is very down-to-earth. He's honest - what you see is what you get. I love him to death. We've been friends for a long time. He's also one of the goofiest, funniest guys I've ever met."
With almost 25 years in country music, Shelton likely doesn't even need to tour. But he reignited his Friends & Heroes Tour, mostly so he could bring his friends along.
"The Friends & Heroes Tour is one of my favorite tours because as a fan, I can't think of a cooler concert to see," Shelton explains. "I get spoiled every night seeing these icons come out and do four or five of the biggest hits of their careers."
