Tim McGraw recently released a reimagined version of "Paper Umbrellas" from his Standing Room Only album, but he brought Parker McCollum along for the ride.

"Paper Umbrellas" is one of the smaller songs from Standing Room Only, but it seems that McGraw really likes it. So much so that not only did he rerelease it, but he got Parker McCollum on it, too.
Despite going through a bit of a country identity crisis, parker McCollum hopped on the track to provide some stellar country vocals. The song hasn't been changed in any way; the only difference is that McCollum sings some lines from the second verse onward.
Although "Paper Umbrellas" is a good enough tropical country ditty, only having Parker McCollum grace the track as minimally as he did is a waste of his talents. If you're gonna release a song for the second time, at least make it a little more worthwhile.
I feel like if you are to collaborate with Parker McCollum, then you should have him support more consistently, or even allow him to write a new second verse. He's too good of an artist to be wasted.
Again, it's a good song, but this collaboration could have been so much more.

Internet Reacts To Tim McGraw and Parker McCollum Collab
The internet has reacted very positively to "Paper Umbrellas" featuring Parker McCollum, and I can't see why they wouldn't. This collab has breathed new life into song, and it seems the fans really enjoy it.
People took to the comments to share their thoughts.
"The collab I never saw coming! It makes the song even better!" exclaimed a fan.
"Oh my freaking goodness I already love this song but he added PARKER MCCOLLUM!!" yelled a fan of both artists.
"I didn't know I needed this in my life but apparently I did! Love these 2 voices together! I've been a Tim fan since the beginning and a Parker fan for the last few years so I'm not surprised they sound so good together!!" wrote a long-time country fan.
Again, it's hardly surprising so many love the new song. McCollum and McGraw certainly need to team up some more.
