Jordan Davis is about to be a father of four. The country music singer announced in January that he and his wife Kristen were expecting their fourth child later this year. With so many children, Davis says he would be happy if the family bought a minivan, but says they likely won't for one reason: the children's mother.

"She's got the Suburban, but it's harder to get the kids in and out of the Suburban," Davis tells Taste of Country.
"I mean, we're approaching minivan status," Davis acknowledges, citing why he thinks a minivan makes sense for his family.
"To be honest with you, I think minivans are awesome," the "Buy Dirt" singer concedes. "The practicality of them is undeniable."
While Davis would be happy with another vehicle, he is wisely deferring to his wife for the final say.
"I could do a minivan. But I never drive anyway," Davis explains. "I'm never here. She's like, 'I have to drive it.'"
Jordan Davis' Family
Davis and Kristen got married in 2018. The couple welcomed their first child, Eloise, in 2019, followed by son Locklan in 2021 and Elijah in 2023. Davis openly admits he is different with his daughter than his two boys.
"My daughter can get away with anything," the singer tells Taste of Country. "And dude, my son — I'm not tough on him, but I just, I play rough with him. Like we box — I've actually gotta stop this ... Me and him joke around and shadow box and stuff and so now he's going to kids and he's like, 'Me and my dad fight at home' and I'm like, 'No! Don't say that.'"
Davis and Kristen weren't necessarily trying to add to their family when she found out she was pregnant.
"The morning she told me, she was going on a girls trip, and she wakes up at like 4:45AM to go to the airport," Davis remembers. "So when she comes into the room, I'm thinking she's just gonna be like 'Hey, I'm headed to the airport, I'll see ya in a couple of days.'"
"I had just got in off the road the day before. So, already tired, looking forward to sleeping in, and at 4:45, she's like, 'Uhhh ... I'm pregnant.'"
As for if there will be Baby No. 5, Davis says definitely not.
