Less than a month before Ghost Adventures star Aaron Goodwin's wife was arrested and accused of hiring a hitman to kill her husband, he had written a heartwarming social media post about her. The authorities have charged 32-year-old Victoria with allegedly plotting to murder 48-year-old Goodwin during filming.

Victoria was allegedly in contact with an inmate in a Florida Prison, conspiring to murder her husband since October 2024. They later arrested her on March 6, just three weeks before her husband wrote a thoughtful Instagram post about her. She now has two charges on her: solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
Wife Of TV Star Allegedly Hired Hitman To Murder Husband
The photo was of Victoria mini-golfing, whose caption read "My valentine always beats me at mini golf." He ended the post with a red heart emoji. Even on New Year's, the TV host shared a photo of him and his wife kissing, wishing everyone a happy new year.
TMZ reported that the cops discovered Victoria's messages to this Florida prison inmate discussing how to leave her marriage. At one point, she messaged, "Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce."
The couple got married three years ago in 2022 at Disneyland's Haunted Mansion. From Goodwin's social media posts, it seemed on the surface like a happy marriage.
Victoria had texted the prisoner her husband's filming location and times in California for Ghost Adventures. The reports claim that his wife held onto $11,515 to pay the hitman. Police also discovered that this inmate was communicating with an unidentified individual, presumably the hitman.
"He's asleep right now in the hotel room ... I need to know what's going on," the inmate texted the individual. "Can I get an update? Was it done?"
Although this murder-for-hire plot happened in October, her husband is perfectly alive right now. It's unclear if or how the plan failed, but the cops allege there were messages about an upfront payment of $2,500. The authorities finally learned of the plot once corrections officers discovered and seized the inmate's contraband phone.
Despite the damning claims, Victoria has denied ever wanting to kill her husband. The outlet reported that she was simply "daydreaming" and "fantasizing" about not being with her husband. Victoria also claimed not to remember sending those messages, on top of mentioning some marital problems to authorities.
Goodwin spoke with TMZ since the incident and told the outlet how "blindsided and devastated" he was. Just from looking at his Instagram posts, you can see how enamored he was with his wife.
