If you want to spice up your chicken but are a little too lazy to make your own sauce, you will now be able to buy three of Popeyes' delicious condiments. For the first time ever, Popeyes sauce will be available in select outlets.
They're not completely ruining their business by letting people make their own chicken sandwiches at home. But, if you know how to fry up a fillet, you can get pretty close. The legendary Popeyes sauce will be available to buy from outlets such as Walmart, Kroger, Albertsons, Food Lion, and Amazon.
Three Signature Sauces From Popeyes
Starting on March 15th, three sauces will be available to buy in the US. Sweet Heat, Blackened Ranch, and Mardi Gras Mustard can be grabbed in 18-ounce bottles. With these three, you can spice up your meals whenever you like.
Blackened Ranch is a great twist on normal ranch. It offers the creaminess of ranch, but with a slightly burnt twist. The addition of paprika and cayenne pepper creates that unique Popeyes flavour. Sweet Heat is another Popeyes classic you can now have at home. Its combination of Aleppo pepper and sweet honey creates the ultimate hot-sweet-chicken compliment.
If you want something with a little more body, then pick up the Mardi Gras Mutard from your local grocery store later this year. This blend of creole mustard and horseradish gives a wild kick to anything you want to dip in it.
Now, if you have the skills, you can cook up your own chicken sandwiches or wings and drown them in your favorite Popeyes sauces. They have only released three sauces so far; they can't give all their secrets away. But they're pretty good ones.
