Reality Star Files For Divorce After Wife Allegedly Hired Hit Man To Try To Kill Him

Ghost Adventures star Aaron Goodwin is seeking a divorce from his wife Victoria and it's easy to understand why. The move follows her alleged attempt to hire a hitman to kill him. Goodwin, 48, filed the complaint Wednesday in Clark County, Nevada. Us Weekly reports he wants no alimony for either party.

Goodwin also asked the court to cover his attorney fees and costs. He also requests confirmation of his separate assets and debts. The TV star cites irreconcilable differences. "Our views, tastes, likes, and dislikes clash," he states in the filing. "Living together as husband and wife is impossible." He adds, "Reconciliation won't happen."

The couple wed at Disneyland's Haunted Mansion in August 2022. They live in Las Vegas. Goodwin lists May 4, 2020, as their marriage date in the filing, Us Weekly notes.

Last week, Victoria, 32, faced arrest. Authorities charged her with solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to murder. TMZ reports an investigation uncovered her alleged plot. Police say she messaged an inmate in a Florida prison since October 2024. She reportedly wanted Goodwin dead to escape the marriage.

"Am I bad for choosing to end his existence, not divorce?" police quote her texting. Victoria allegedly offered $11,515 for the hit. She shared Goodwin's location with the inmate, who relayed it to a hitman. The 48-year-old was filming Ghost Adventures in California at the time. "He's asleep in the hotel now," the inmate texted. "Was it done?"

Police say Victoria paid $2,500 as a down payment. The plot unraveled when corrections officers seized the inmate's phone as contraband, TMZ reports. It's unclear what became of the hitman.

Victoria denies the accusations. She told investigators she only "daydreamed" about life without Goodwin, per TMZ. The paranormal investigator now faces a real-life nightmare. His divorce filing signals the end of a turbulent union. Authorities continue probing the chilling allegations.
