During the March Madness basketball tournament 68 teams take part in a seven-round tournament to determine the winner. CBS Reporter Tracy Wolfson took the opportunity to snap a photo with Canadian Florida Gators player Olivier Rioux.

He stands at a massive 7-foot-9 and dwarfs her, and anyone else he stands beside for that matter. Rioux is a phenomenon, reading 7-foot-5 by the age of 15. At the moment, he is now one of the tallest basketball players. He is taller than anyone in the NBA by a significant amount, but currently, he is only playing college basketball.

Internet Has A Field Day With 7-foot-9 Giant

The hilarious comparison in the picture has garnered a huge response online. Sure, we're used to seeing massive basketball players, but this college player takes the cake. Currently, Zach Edey is the tallest player in the NBA at only 7-foot-4. So, to see this guy towering over even Edey is a shock.

"Such awesome pictures!!! Tracy, I don't think you will have to worry about guarding either of these 2," one commenter adds to the picture. Another favours her chances playing against the 7-foot-9 players, saying "I Got My Money On You Tracy !! You Got The Looks And A Better Jump Shot."

Some are laughing about how small Tracy Wolfson looks next to the giant basketball players. "Are you 3' 10" tall, Tracy????," one adds. "OMGOSH!!! Do they provide you with free ladders as part of your work equipment???" another asked.

Obviously, CBS Reporter Tracy Wolfson isn't the tallest lady in the world, but she's not that short. These two giant college basketball players are true wonders. However, 7-foot-9 Oliver Rioux rarely plays and spends most of his time on the bench.

Once he's trained up, and able to start playing, he could pose a real threat. Guarding against a guy who suffers altitude sickness just by standing up would be a challenge for anyone let alone the CBS reporter.
