According to a new TMZ report, law enforcement sources have revealed that the events that took place on Saturday, March 29, were a bit more complex than before. Reportedly, Delaney called the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department once on Friday to report a domestic violence incident against James Morgan. Allegedly, they both engaged in a heated argument that turned into a physical confrontation. Morgan, however, left the scene, only to return the following morning.

At around 10 a.m., Delaney called police once again. As per the outlet, she "didn't want him around." Upon arrival, deputies talked with both Kim Delaney and James Morgan. At that point, Morgan showed video evidence to the deputies, allegedly showing Delaney attempting to run him over with her vehicle. As a result, they were both arrested.

Kim Delaney was charged with felony assault likely to cause great bodily injury, and Morgan was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence. Sources state that Delaney's felony assault charge was issued in connection with the alleged car incident. Meanwhile, the domestic violence charge against Morgan stems from the alleged Friday fight.

Kim Delaney's felony assault charge is only the latest in a string of legal issues the actress has faced throughout her life. Entertainment Weekly reported that, in 2002, she was sentenced to two years' probation. She previously pleaded no contest to a reckless driving charge. Reportedly, a motorist spotted her driving recklessly near her Malibu home.

Twenty years later, in 2022, Delaney was embroiled in more legal issues involving her driving. Allegedly, as per the Daily Mail, Delaney rammed a motorcyclist, Dzhamal Badalov, while he was stopped at a red light. Moreover, it has been alleged that she tried to flee the scene, only to be stopped by several witnesses. Two years after the incident, Badalov sued Delaney. She was eventually ordered to do 50 hours of community service and complete a driving program.
