"We're Basic": Despite Wealth, Luke Combs' Family Of Four Lives In 2 Bedroom House

Luke Combs has revealed that despite his money and fame, he lives pretty modestly. And it's all for his kids.

The country star recently sat down on The MeatEater Podcast, where he talked about his lifestyle and parenting methods. In a segment where he's talking about raising his children with respect and responsibility, he mentions that the house he lives in is pretty standard.

"We live in a 2,000 foot house man," he said. Most country singers on Luke Combs' level typically purchase some pretty crazy property. Look at Jason Aldean's tropical retreat, or Kid Rock's replica White House.

"It's two bedrooms. Me and my wife have a room, and then the boys share a room," he explained. "We're always close together, we're always tied in." And that's exactly how he wants it.

To know that a huge star is living modestly is refreshingly surprising. Even with a family, you don't need huge houses or big plots of land. So long as you've got your family, you're good.

He went on to share that the living room is where the kids play, so their toys and playthings are stored there. Although this may sound like a headache to parents out there, he's made sure to instill respect into his kids.

Luke Combs Makes His Kids Muck In Around The House

Although his boys are only young (with one kid being one-and-a-half years old and the other 2-and-a-half), Luke Combs makes sure they understand that they need to clean their own messes.

Of course, he and his wife will do the vast majority of the work, but the kids will muck in where they're able to. Instilling this manner of respect for their surroundings at their age is so important.

"We let 'em just destroy it," he said, referencing what his kids do to his living room when playing in the evening.

"But it's like, every night it's like 'All right, we're all cleaning up now,'" he said. "We make it a point to go 'Hey man, Like you need to help us with this stuff. This is your job. You make a mess, you got to clean it up.'"

Again, it's incredibly refreshing to hear that someone so famous remains so down-to-earth in their living habits and parenting methods.
