If you missed it, check out last week's edition. Wouldn't want you missing out now.

Our Spotify playlist is getting fatter and fatter, and only with the best recent releases. It's been updated with the following five songs, so make sure to save it for your listening pleasure.

1. Finish This Drink

"Finish This Drink" by Brothers Osborne is a simple and fun song. I really want to hear this play at the bar when the vibes are right.

I don't usually care for songs that simply amount to 'We be drinking,' but for some reason this one infiltrated my brain as quite the ear worm.

It's so easy to listen to, and gets me in the mood to have a good time, every time.

2. Talkin' White Trash

"Talkin' White Trash" by Tyler Booth is a great country song. In a modern landscape where 'country' is losing its rigid walls, sometimes it's good to have a song that just screams 'country.'

It's another fun song that I'm sure will be relatable to a lot of you out there. It's got a great beat that keeps steppin' with you as you listen.

I really enjoy "Talkin' White Trash," it wears its heart on its torn-off sleeves.

3. One For The Road

"One For The Road," by Preston Cooper is a song that's grown on me. The more I listen to it, the more I find my head bopping.

It's a lot more rock and roll than the other songs on this list. It's kind of like ACDC, but if they were good.

I can just imagine blaring this song as I barrel down the highway. It's a heater, and I'm sure many of you out there will agree.

4. Ask You

"Ask You" by Kiana is another song that's grown on me this past week. I don't usually enjoy slower songs like this, but the mellow vibes and great vocals are something special.

Sure, it's another song about heartache, but it's not overly dramatic, emotional, or depressing. It's pretty chill, and it'll be just right for many of you out there.

It also tackles an angle of heartache I don't often hear in songs these days.

5. High On A Heartbreak

"High On A Heartbreak" by Hailey Whitters also tackles heartbreak a little differently. Instead of lamenting what was lost and the aching of a broken heart, Whitters set out to write the antithesis of a heartbreak song.

And that's exactly what she did.

I'm sure it'll be a soothing listen to those recovering from a harsh breakup.

Best Album — Safe Haven

The best album of this week goes to Safe Haven, by Ned LeDoux. Yeah, the son of the Chris LeDoux. It's full of heavy hitters, such as "Real As I Believe" and "One Hand In The Riggin.'"

I'd recommend you settle down with a glass of whiskey and enjoy the album. It's sure to put you in your feels and get you real reflective. It's a powerful album, and one written with extreme passion and care.

This may not be a go-to album for me, but I appreciate it like any other great piece of art. It's a solid album.

I can't wait to see you next Thursday when I go over all the best country releases for next week. Until then, take care.
