Jillian Shriner, the wife of the Weezer bassist, is one hell of a woman. She's got quite the life story, having been a call girl for the Prince of Brunei, a writer, and now a criminal charged with attempted murder of a cop. But her husband doesn't have much to say on the matter.

While pursuing three perps from a hit-and-run on the highway, police ended up in the back garden of Weezer bassist and Jillian Shriner. Here, she pulled a gun on them and refused to let them pass. They repeatedly demanded she drop the weapon, but she refused. She continued pointing the 9 mm pistol at them.
They proceeded to shoot her in the shoulder. She dropped her weapon and approached the police with her hands in the air. Footage from the helicopter above shows her lying face down on the ground while the police approach her to slap a pair of cuffs on.
She was booked on suspicion of attempted murder after pointing her gun at the police.
See You At Cochella
When the husband of Jillian Shriner, bassist of Weezer, was asked about his wife's situation, he didn't have an awful lot to say on the matter. He certainly didn't seem too concerned that she had been shot and arrested.
As he walked his dogs outside of their Los Angeles home in Eagle Rock, reporters asked how Jillian Shriner was doing. "She's alright, thank you for asking," he said, making the whole thing seem very run of the mill.
But he wasn't finished. Before he left, he made sure to promote the upcoming Weezer appearance. "See you at Coachella!" he said as he made his way back into their home. Now that's how you promote a gig. First, get your wife to be shot by police, then use the hype to promote your new gig. PR agents, take note: This guy is changing the game.
Maybe this will make into another one of the published Jillian Shriner memoirs. I would certainly read about it. She can add a prison sentence to her already impressive life story. Her book, Some Girls: My Life in a Harem, already goes into her life as a call girl for a prince.
