Riley Green's Mom Is A Big Fan Of His Racy 'Worst Way' Video

Riley Green's "Worst Way" is one of the steamiest, most racy videos ever released in country music. The video for the song, from Green's latest Don't Mind If I Do album, is very much R-rated. While most mothers might not approve of the video, Green says his own mother is, perhaps surprisingly, a really big fan.

"My mom has seen this for so long that she just enjoys it," Green says. "When we put the 'Worst Way' video out, she'll send me screenshots of some of the craziest comments. And she said that she had to tell Dad the other day when they went to church, to not bring up the video to anybody because he's so excited to talk to people about it because it was doing so well.

"And they were at some big banquet at the college I went to," he continues. "The president's wife pulled it up and put it up on a big screen. So she enjoys it. But she knows how to kind of sift through the rumors and she'll just go straight to the source if she has any real questions."

Riley Green''s Other Creative Interests Besides Country Music

Green is by now a certified country music superstar, with hit singles, awards, and tours to prove it. But the Alabama native isn't content to just stay in country music. Instead, Green reveals he is ready to pursue another creative interest: acting!

"We've actually kind of gone down that road a little bit," Green reveals. "I've read for a couple of shows here lately. And not that I have a lot of time for it, but I think it is something that I would enjoy, and also something I think could help my music career. I mean, obviously, doing Yellowstone was a great launching pad for Lainey [Wilson] as well. And the Country and Western thing is becoming so popular through those shows that it's really just such a great tie-in. I'm just glad that it's helping out country music."

Fans outside of country music may not have seen Green's acting chops yet, but he has them. He also isn't afraid to poke fun at himself, as evident in a video he posted, with him starring as a hotel receptionist in a hilarious skit.
