Last April, Morgan revealed her husband had been diagnosed with cancer.

"We thank you for your prayers," Morgan said when announcing the news. "I asked my team to release this information today ... We deeply appreciate the prayers and well wishes, and for continued support and privacy as we focus on Randy's health and on our family at this time."

Morgan was currently on the road with Alabama, on their Live In Concert 25 Tour. She is being replaced by Pam Tillis while she is off the road.

Lorrie Morgan's Marriage To Keith Whitley

White is Morgan's sixth husband. She was most famously married to Keith Whitley, her second husband, from 1986 until Whitley's death in 1989 from alcohol poisoning. Whitley passed away on May 9. On the 35th anniversary of his passing, the Grand Ole Opry member posted a touching tribute to Whitley.

"Today is always a sad day for me and my kids and all the Whitleys," Morgan wrote at the time. "Today marks 35 years that Keith passed away. Still so hard to accept after all this time. I wish he could see his children and grandchildren so much. He has new flowers on his grave from all of us. So pretty. "

Morgan was also present when Whitley was posthumously inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2022.

"I've gone through everything that Keith would be feeling that I feel like I knew pretty well. He would feel so undeserving," Morgan said during the ceremony. "That was the wonderful thing about Keith. He was so one of us. He loved all these Hall of Fame members."

Whitley was three weeks away from becoming part of the Grand Ole Opry when he passed away.

Morgan and Whitley had one son together, Jesse Keith Whitley, who just welcomed his third child into the world. Thomas Konrad Whitley was born on April 12.
