I'm an open-minded guy and I'll happily share a drink with most people in a bar, but I have to draw the line at 3,000 bees.

English summers are so short that if you blink, you'll miss it. But if you're around for them, they're the most action-packed three days of the calendar. A bar in Sheffield has had its years' worth of excitement as boozers in the pub garden were swarmed by thousands of bees.
Bees are very much agents of their own volition. If they decide that they want to descend on a place and cause havoc, the fuzzy little terrorists will do it. As Errol Edwards made his way to the Brothers Arms pub in Heeley, Sheffield, he noticed the incoming swarm.
A van outside the pub was absolutely covered in bees, he reported. People nearby were running for cover as the buzzing horde arrived. It was 1.30 PM on a Tuesday afternoon, and prime outside drinking time in the UK. Edwards was amused to see the carnage the bees were causing in the bar, forcing people to pick up their pints and run.
"There was a bit of a commotion, and I saw people running inside. They gave some people a fright, it seems," he told SWNS. "They had completely covered about a 20 square meter area of the pub, including the front and sides, even the patio floor."
Bees Bother British Boozers
Finding a fly in your pint is always a downer on the day, but finding 3000 bees in there is an absolute nightmare. As the bees descended on the quaint British bar garden, the patrons ran inside. "The bees were absolutely everywhere; it really was a spectacle," a bystander remarked.
The landlord ushered everyone inside before shutting the door. Safely behind the doors of the British pub, they watched the swarm of bees hum around for fifteen minutes. They eventually moved to the park next door.
The reason for the bees descending on the pub isn't clear. However, in a case like this, it is usually because the queen is moving on, looking for a new home. This would cause the bees to swarm, keeping her protected, and checking out the new real estate.
