Lindsay Lohan's Father Will Be Behind Bars For A While After Arrest

It will be a while before Lindsay Lohan's father gets out of jail after his recent arrest. On Wednesday, a Palm Beach, Florida, judge ruled that Lohan, a former Wall Street broker, gets a 38-day credit for his time already served. Linday's father had been on probation after illegal "patient brokering" in 2021.

This means that Lohan allegedly brought drug addicts to Florida drug treatment centers in exchange for illegal kickbacks. Investigators discovered at the time that Lohan received around $25,000 in illegal kickbacks. He pleaded guilty to five counts of patient brokering, leading to his four-year probation that started in 2022.

Since then, he has violated this probation after the alleged assault on his 42-year-old estranged wife. According to PEOPLE, Major saw Lohan in the parking lot while she was attending a medical appointment on February 21. After becoming concerned that he was following her, Major made a 911 call.

During that call, Major admitted that Lohan "flipped her out of a chair at their residence a few days earlier." The Harris County Sheriff's Office confirmed this after finding bruises on Major's body. After deputies met with Lohan at his house that day, they arrested him "without incident." He currently has a Continuous Family Violence charge on him and a $30,000 bond.

Michael Lohan Speaks Up Against Allegations

Since the arrest reports, Lohan has broken his silence and denied any of Major's allegations against him. He told TMZ that he was "set up" by Major. Lohan also alleged that the stalking and the chair incident were "a total lie." He continued, "Not only will my kids attest to it, but I have video. I have more videos of her abuse."

This duo's relationship, after marrying in 2014 and divorcing in 2018, has been messy for quite a while. In June 2024, police arrested Major for violating a protective order. This was after she engaged in a heated argument with Lohan, as TMZ reported.

Not only that, but in 2020, the authorities arrested Lohan for allegedly choking Major. According to US Weekly, they charged Lohan with "misdemeanor criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation (choking)," as well as "second-degree harassment."
