Zach Top Wins The New Male Artist Of The Year ACM Award To The Surprise Of No One

Surprising absolutely no one, Zach Top gets an early ACM award win as he earns the New Male Artist Of The Year award.

The Washington sensation has taken country music by storm. His Cold Beer & Country Music album defined the singer as the figurehead for the revitalization of the '90s sound in country. His classic yet unique songwriting and singing have got him on everyone's radar.

Although it's not a surprise, it's certainly an accomplishment.

The Academy of Country Music Awards are set to take place on May 8. They've given out some awards early, however. On Instagram, the news was announced.

"JUST IN: The ACM New Male Artist of the Year for the 60th #ACMawards goes to... @zachtop!" the post celebrated.

The country icon stands proudly with his trophy. I'm sure it's still all so surreal for him.

Zach Top's influence has spread farther than just with his millions of fans. He's been recognized and appreciated by A-list country singers.

Hardy made a joke reference to the singer in a recent hilarious Instagram video, and Jelly Roll and Post Malone were caught jamming out to his track "I Never Lie." With such wide recognition, it would be outlandish to not give this award to him.

Everyone Gushes Over Zach Top ACM Win

The comments are full of country fans celebrating Zach Top's well-deserved win. Although country fans are losing respect in award shows with each passing ceremony, moments like these are worth celebrating.

"Congratulations, much deserved!" exclaimed a fan.

"Country music wins," stated another.

"AS IT SHOULD BE!" yelled a third.

"Glad they got this one right. Congratulations my friend," supported someone else.

"Hallelujah.. When they get it right," another fan praised.

"Country music is so back," wrote one more, sharing a thought that is echoed by many.

Zach Top's meteoric rise to fame has been well-documented by thousands of headlines. He's got another album coming out in the summer, which I have previously speculated to be named after one of his leaked songs, "Good Times & Tan Lines."

Fans are chomping at the bit to hear more Zach Top music. And so am I.
