Paul McCartney Opens Up About His Marriage With Wife Nancy

Being a celebrity almost guarantees tons of questions about their love life. If they're single, the public tries to either shoot their own shot personally or try to play matchmaker like they do with Megan Moroney. Or they prod with a gazillion different questions and try to poke holes in it like with Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. It's increasingly rare to keep anything private, to preserve a relationship to themselves without prying questions. Somehow, Beatles legend Paul McCartney manages to keep his private life and his public life mostly separate. Now is one of the rare times he's opening up about it.

Recently, a Facebook user named Joan asked about Paul's marriage to his wife Nancy. Given the strenuous schedules and tight commitments, surely it's hard to finally settle down and truly relax with one another. Consequently, they wished to know what they do together in their off time. "I'm curious, when it's just you and Nancy at home together with a break from all your responsibilities and commitments, what do you do together to relax?" Joan asks McCartney. "What are your shared interests?"

Paul McCartney Dishes on Private Life With His Wife Nancy

It might strike some people as disappointing but Paul describes his life with Nancy as particularly mundane. In some sense, it's actually quite sweet and relatable. "We chat and catch up with each other. We eat lunch or dinner. Well, any meal really, as we love cooking," McCartney responds. "Sometimes we will watch something on TV together, and I always read before bed, usually a biography, while Nancy finishes watching a series. We're pretty much like any other normal couple!"

Although it's quite nice to know that he lives not unlike most couples today, McCartney still keeps it pretty vague on the details. Ultimately, it's probably healthier to keep that separation between the public and the private.
