His farewell was highlighted by this stellar duet with Crow during a concert in Arlington, Texas, at AT&T Stadium. 'Jackson' With Martina McBride

That farewell concert that George Strait gave in Arlington, Texas, must have been a real doozy! He sang at that event with the delightful Martina McBride on the Johnny and June Carter Cash gem, "Jackson." Probably the two of them brought the house down. The dwelling was bought by none other than Barry Gibb, the legendary Bee Gees frontman. Sadly, this piece of country music lore burned down 18 years ago while it was being renovated.

'Sing One With Willie' With Willie Nelson

This is appropriate! A song about a beloved giant of country music wanting to sing with a fellow giant of the genre at last. It's on Strait's album, Honky Tonk Time Machine, from 2019. These masterful performers and vocalists make the most of the opportunity to mingle their talents. The video shows them singing it at Nelson's star-studded 90th birthday bash at the Hollywood Bowl. Strait and Nelson co-wrote the song, along with Strait's son, Bubba, and Buddy Cannon. A duet for the ages indeed!
