Every good marriage has their secret to success. Sometimes, it's pretty chaotic and seemingly unexplainable, like the cosmos perfectly aligning for them. For Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, everything orbits around their faith in Christianity. All of the principles that are worthwhile in a relationship can be traced back to accounts in the Bible. Communication, patience, unconditional love, these examples are prominent in the literature. Now, Shelton is explaining how the Lord takes a primary focus in his love life with his wife.

Recently, Blake spoke with Kelleigh Bannen for Apple Music Country to promote his latest record, For Recreational Use Only. There, he opens up about how Gwen Stefani's Christian faith helped strengthen his own and everything he learns from her. "I've learned so much from her, and she's really the person that's helped me get in touch with my faith and get serious about it and not just something that you say at an awards show, you know? She reminds me to think about it all day long. When you're around her, everything she sees, she sees God in it," Shelton says.

"Her faith is alive, and it's incredible to be around her. She's so happy about it, and she loves to share it to anybody that's listening," he adds.
The radio host replies by musing about Stefani's faith in comparison to other ladies in music. Particularly, Bannen highlights how Dolly Parton and Little Big Town's Kimberly Schlapman's approach to faith is similar to Gwen's. Blake agrees, expressing how, in their Christian beliefs, they lead with a tremendous light in the world.
"That's funny you say that about Kimberly. I've always thought about that with her, too," Shelton says of Schlapman. "I don't think I've ever seen her without a smile from ear to ear, you know? [Schlapman is] just an incredible person, and Dolly obviously, but Gwen has that, too. She just has that."
