Jon Pardi appears to be a pretty chill dude. But right now, there is one topic that he's become rather touchy over. If you don't want to get him mad, I'd avoid it entirely.

Recently, Jon Pardi visited Taste of Country Nights, where the sensitive subject was broached. Hilariously, when Evan Paul brought up the house him and his wife are building, a fire of rage was lit under him.
The "Head Over Boots" singer came forth with why building a house from scratch has been an awfully irritating time. And he wasn't afraid to raise his voice during his rant.
Apparently, the project has been "the biggest pain in the a--!"
He immediately didn't recommend the undertaking of building a new house. "Buy a house and fix it, don't build a house," he stressed.
"God, it is a test of strength."
It's not just building the house that's the problem, however. It's the modern construction scene in Nashville that's really upset him.
"Construction has gone so downhill," he lamented. "People just don't know how to do good work anymore, it's crazy! The lack of talent in the construction industry."
Jon Pardi isn't just an out-of-touch boomer complaining about the modern workforce. He himself is no stranger to hard work, and has a history of labor-intensive projects. So he knows how to work hard, and apparently isn't seeing it reflected in the industry.
Jon Pardi Calls Out Pool Guys
It seems that Jon Pardi also wants a pool with the new house, which is another problem entirely.
"Pool guys in Nashville? Oh my God, that is just straight robbing people! You are robbing people out here, pool man, and you know it!" he yelled. "You are a bad person. Gunite should not be that expensive!"
Guntite is a cement-based concoction that's commonly used in pool construction. Considering how large the pool likely is, I figure he needs a lot of it, and it's costing him an arm and a leg.
Might want to get to work on that next album, Pardi.
Thankfully, though, he's happy with the progress they've made so far, despite the stresses and insane costs.
