New Jersey Bruce Springsteen Cover Band Gets Caught In Fallout Of Singer's Feud With Trump

I mean this just kind of all-around sucks. A New Jersey Bruce Springsteen cover band just got caught in a political beef between the singer and the current POTUS. Yeah, and if that sounds bad, it's because it is. I can't believe we're putting down bands because of the actions the artists they cover make. That hardly seems fair. Musicians have a tough enough time making a living to begin with. Here's what happened:

Bruce Beefing With Donald

Yeah, so Bruce Springsteen is definitely not helping this band out.

He had a recent tour in Europe. While he was playing in Manchester, England, he opened his concert with a little tirade. The tirade in question was about the current President of the United States. Yes, the one and only Donald Trump.

He had some very...unsavory things to say about the president. I won't write out the

Among them was, "In my home, the America I love, the America I've written about, that has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous administration..." He didn't leave it at that though he also added, "The majority of our elected representatives have failed to protect the American people from the abuses of an unfit president and a rogue government." Those are some strong claims from the star.

Naturally, Trump was not gonna leave that well enough alone. He had some words of his own for the aging icon.

The POTUS went to his favorite spot to spread information, social media, and dropped some gems of his own. He called Springsteen, "a pushy, obnoxious JERK, who fervently supported Crooked Joe Biden, a mentally incompetent FOOL, and our WORST EVER President, who came close to destroying our Country."

Among some other hilarious chirps. He then also dropped this dime on his Twitter.

The Beefing Is Causing A Stir In New Jersey

This is where it goes from funny to sad. This internet feud has caused No Surrender, a classic rock cover band, to lose money. They were slated to perform at Riv's Toms River Hub in Toms River. Unfortunately, the owner decided that his clientele may not be happy with the band doing their normal setlist. And he decided to cancel the performance.

Tom Rivoli, the owner of the restaurant, wrote a text message to the bassist, which was obtained by NJ Advance Media. The text read, "Whenever the national anthem plays, my bar stands and is in total silence, that's our clientele. Toms River is red and won't stand for his bulls**t."

Some pretty strong words from the owner. He later opened up the opportunity for No Surrender to play again, but they opted out. Mostly due to the last-minute "cancellation".

Hopefully, other Bruce Springsteen cover bands don't start to share the same fate.
