If you've got some time after, make sure to check out last week's list, too.

As always, these songs have been added to our Spotify playlist. Check it out and save it to keep up to date with the best and latest in country music.

Let's get on with it.

Selena

"Selena" by Sammy Arriaga is the song I've been waiting for from the singer. I have been a huge fan of every song he's released recently, which is hopefully gearing up to an album release. Every song seems to be telling one greater story, and "Selena" is currently my favorite.

Its rhythm never fails to get my head bopping and my body moving. The Mexican influences here are undeniable and so damn catchy. It's a brilliant song. I can't wait for more.

Turquoise Cowboy

"Turquoise Cowboy" by Ink is a song that I've been struggling to rank. It's sat on every ranking of this list before I changed my mind again. I think I've been being too harsh on it, however. It's a hell of a bop and I can't get it out of my head.

I love the backing track especially, it immediately caught me. Ink's voice is also a pleasure to listen to. Oh, and it's also got a brilliant music video.

Dead Man's Alley

"Dead Man's Alley" by Sam Stoane is a song that caught me by surprise. It builds up pretty slowly but hits hard with chorus that just gets stronger and stronger.

Stoane's stellar vocals compliments the shady swing of the music. She sounds right at home in the dark story telling, her voice like the rose at the end of a thorny stalk. It's a great song, and she a great singer.

Pretty Poppies

"Pretty Poppies," another track by Sam Stoane, is a haunting and wretched track of sorrow and grief. This song shares the same strengths as "Dead Man's Alley," although instead of being dark and shady, it's solemn and gloomy.

But the distinct edge of her voice that flows like water really makes the song as compelling as it is.

Cowboy Sh!t

"Cowboy Sh!t" by Karley Scott Collins is a country song that hits hard. A rebellious tune with a rocking bass to match, the song is for those who aren't scared to take matters into their own hands.

Make sure to turn the volume up, as this song is best listened to loud. The song fills your brain with Collins' powerful voice. It's a song that's sure to get many of you out there feeling pumped up.

Best Album — Outrun

This week has been pretty stacked with LP and EP releases, but only one could take the no.1 spot. Out of all the albums I listened to, The SteelDrivers' Outrun album was the most enjoyable to listen to.

Although my favorite tracks of the album were released ahead of the release, the album itself was a joy to listen to. It's a pretty fun listen, although isn't without it's more sombre and mellow pieces. The signature SteelDrivers touch is present on every song.

With two tracks from Sam Stoane's Tales Of The Dark West album on the list, I can't not shout out her album also. Although I enjoyed listening to Outrun from start to finish a little more than Tales Of The Dark West, that's not to say Sam Stoane hasn't made an incredible album.

Well, that's all for this week, ladies and gentlemen. A lot of music is to be released tomorrow, so check back next week to listen to the best new country songs!
