Koe Wetzel Opens Up About His Newborn Daughter at Concert

They say having a baby is the greatest blessing you could have. It's a miracle of life, that in a little under a year, you could have a spawn of yourself. You get to see what qualities they take after you in their faces. Then, as they grow older, you see how your parenting reflects who they are as a growing person. It's beautiful and it's something that new father and country crooner Koe Wetzel doesn't take for granted.

On May 23rd, he and his girlfriend Bailey Fisher welcomed their newborn daughter Woods Madison Wetzel into the world. As a result, he missed the opening of HARDY's Jim Bob World Tour. Now, Koe is coming back to fulfill the rest of his obligations to his fans. However, obviously, fatherhood is now a prominent fixture in his life. Consequently, he's incredibly eager to share how happy he is to be a new parent.

Koe Wetzel Lights Up When Talking About His Daughter at Recent Concert

Recently, Wetzel performed at one of the tour stops with HARDY. There, he takes a moment in his set to talk about all the great things happening in his life before performing "Good Times." He jests how he doesn't drink the way he used to with his newborn in his life. However, given the increased responsibility, the lack of sleep hits Koe all the same.

"I'm older and wiser, I'm not drinking as much. I had a baby girl last week! She's the most beautiful thing I've ever put my eyes on, and she's an absolute blessing. I get just about as much sleep now as I was when I was getting f**ked up all the time, so it balances itself out a little bit," Koe quips.

Gone are a lot of the party days in Wetzel's past. Now, he's got a little one to look after when he's not performing.
