Taylor Sheridan continues building his business empire, this time by adding steak to the mix.

The Yellowstone creator and his partners, David Glasser and Dan Schryer, recently purchased Cattlemen's Steakhouse in Texas. The historic restaurant has operated in Fort Worth's Stockyards since 1947, serving up juicy steaks in a classic Western atmosphere, as relayed by Taste of Country.
Though a multi-million-dollar renovation is underway, Sheridan says the goal is to honor the past.
"Fort Worth is a vital city to both our state and our nation," Sheridan said in a statement. "It is where the West begins and where the cattle business was born."
"This city deserves a gathering place for the people who shaped its history and those guiding its future — a space where friendships grow and community thrives."
Sheridan Adds Members-Only Dining Experience
Sheridan isn't just preserving tradition, he's adding something new.
Cattlemen's will feature a private dining area called the Cattlemen's Club. The space will seat 130 members and offer a more exclusive experience within the restaurant. Membership costs $3,000 per year, with a $1,000 one-time initiation fee.
The club reflects Sheridan's so-called vision of blending Texas heritage with upscale hospitality.
Sheridan Ventures Outside Writing
This move marks another chapter in Sheridan's growing list of ventures outside television and film.
He owns the Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse at the Wynn Las Vegas. His 6666 Ranch in Texas, which he acquired in 2022, supplies beef to various restaurants, including Cattlemen's.
Sheridan also owns Bosque Ranch in Weatherford, Texas, and operates beer, liquor, and coffee businesses under the Bosque name.
Texas Storyteller With National Ranch
Sheridan made his mark with Yellowstone and its prequels, 1883 and 1923. He wrote Sicario (2015), earning a Writers Guild nomination, and received an Oscar nod for Hell or High Water (2016). His other works include Wind River, Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown, Lioness, and Landman, filmed in Fort Worth.
In 2021, Sheridan was inducted into the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame. In 2024, the Texas Business Hall of Fame recognized his entrepreneurial efforts.
With Cattlemen's now under his leadership, Sheridan continues to shape Texas culture. And hey, not just on screen, but at the dinner table too.
