The NCIS franchise is heading across the Atlantic for its newest chapter. NCIS: Tony & Ziva, the latest spinoff from the long-running CBS procedural, reunites Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) and Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) for a high-stakes adventure through Europe.

The 10-episode first season will stream on Paramount+ this fall, though a premiere date has yet to be announced.
Set years after they depart from the original NCIS series, Tony & Ziva finds the duo living in Paris and co-parenting their 12-year-old daughter, Tali (played by Isla Gie). Their quiet life is upended when Tony's security company is attacked, forcing the family to flee across Europe while trying to identify their pursuers.
NCIS Spinoff Ready to Roll
Along the way, they're not just dodging danger but also working to rebuild trust and rediscover their bond. According to the show's official synopsis, their journey becomes a race to find safety and, perhaps, their own unconventional happily-ever-after.
Weatherly and de Pablo, who also serve as executive producers, described the new series as "an action-packed roller coaster fueled by love, danger, tears and laughter."
"This is for the fans," they said in a joint statement. "To this day, people stop us on the street to ask what Tony and Ziva are up to. Now, we finally get to show them."
Flagship to Fresh Start
Tony and Ziva's romance captured NCIS viewers throughout the 2000s and early 2010s. Weatherly starred as DiNozzo from the series' debut in 2003 until 2016. De Pablo joined in 2005 and left in 2013. Their characters' relationship began in earnest during Season 10 but was cut short when Ziva was presumed dead in Season 11. Tony discovered she had secretly given birth to their daughter and left NCIS to raise her.
Ziva later resurfaced in Season 16, revealing she had faked her death and was in hiding.
The upcoming series marks the first time Weatherly and de Pablo will appear together on-screen in over a decade.
Trailer Revealed
The first teaser for NCIS: Tony & Ziva debuted on May 5 during the NCIS Season 22 finale. The clip, which opens with Ziva in therapy and quickly transitions into a globe-trotting chase, sparked enormous interest. According to Paramount+, the trailer amassed 93 million views in its first week -- making it the most-watched trailer in franchise history.
Set against a European backdrop, the series blends espionage, relationship drama and family dynamics. Paris, where the couple once shared pivotal scenes in the original series, now serves as their base and battleground.
"Cote and I just fell into this new place with our characters," Weatherly said. "Informed by the past, illuminated by the present, and trying to see a future together. These characters are on the adventure of a lifetime -- and hopefully, so is the viewer."
