Wife Calls Out Husband For Hilariously Mistaking White Claws For Energy Drinks

Alright, this may be the funniest thing to happen this week, and it happened on Monday. I don't know if you saw this post, but it still gets me to this day. A wife outed her husband for drinking a White Claw hard seltzer on his way to work. But not because he's an alcoholic, or has some terrible habits. No, this man fully thought he was drinking an energy drink. I mean, just check this out:

Hard Seltzers Taste Like Energy Drinks?

To me personally, not really, but hey, if I had a hard seltzer every day before work, maybe I'd change my mind.

I think it's extra hilarious that his wife just found out. Did she notice that her husband was going through a case of white claws bi-weekly? How long did this whole trend go on before she put a stop to it? Also, crazy lucky he's never been pulled over. I don't know if anyone else does the energy drinks before work trend, but that thing is cracked the second I'm in the car. So this man had an open container in his car every day before work.

Luckily, those things are like 5% at most, so he probably wasn't showing up to work buzzed, but wow. I bet he woke up with a slight headache, and a couple of times wondered why coffee didn't help at all. Actually, come to think of it, there was no way any caffeinated drinks would've helped. Just imagine him freaking out more and more as he realizes only one 'energy drink' seems to be able to help his 'caffeine' addiction.

Response To The Accidental Switch?

The comment section of this post is hilarious.

Honestly, a pretty fair take. You can absolutely taste the alcohol in those bad boys.

Hmmmm, well this seems like a different sort of issue. Denial aside, I think this is a little more than light alcoholism.

Oh man, not the cops too! It is genuinely insane to me how many people make this mistake. I get that some convenience stores have their liquor license. It is entirely possible to make this mistake. But for this many people to make it? Does no one read nutrition facts anymore? Just look to see if it has an ABV or if it's called an energy drink!
