Miley Cyrus Recalls The Wild "Core Memory" With Her Dad Billy Ray That Still Cracks Her Up Today

It's a miracle that Miley Cyrus has seemingly maintained her sanity since her rabid Hannah Montana fame. Being a child star is intense enough but she was practically everywhere at such an incredibly young age. Additionally, she was a part of the massive Disney machine. They basically churn out these kinds of actors like it's nothing. But it all pales in comparison to how Cyrus navigated that back in the day.

Miley definitely had her hiccups in the spotlight along the way. For instance, her stint in the early to mid 2010s saw her reputation in the gutter. It was to the point where Miley's siblings were embarrassed to be around her. Still, she could always rely on her family and how close knit they were. I mean, Billy Ray was even on the cast of Hannah Montana. There was hardly a moment where he wasn't around. Consequently, the "Flowers" superstar remembers the times she laughed on the Disney set.

Miley Cyrus Reminisces on "Core Memory" She Had on Hannah Montana Set

Recently, she spoke with her mom Tish and her sister Brandi on the Sorry We're Cyrus podcast. There, she tackles everything, from her early celebrity to her less glamorous moments in the spotlight to her latest album. One moment in particular sees mom and the eldest sibling rattle off quick questions for Miley to answer. "What's a core memory from the Hannah Montana days that still makes you laugh?" Tish asks.

Without a second thought, the pop star replies with a wild, hilarious answer. "Dad smoking pot and everyone blaming me for it," she says. Momma Tish cracks up thinking about it. Meanwhile, sister Brandi seemingly confirms its validity by saying that she remembers it. Miley still finds the whole affair to be hysterical all these years later. Afterwards, Tish says that she thought it was all hearsay back in the day. "I was saying, 'Absolutely not, he would never do that,'" she recalls.
