Recently, Dolly announced on her socials that she's taking over one of the most prominent venues for a Las Vegas residency. The run would last for six shows across early to mid December, with tickets going live soon. "Grab your rhinestones, Vegas is calling! I'm taking over The Colosseum at Caesars Palace with Dolly: Live in Las Vegas, a limited-run engagement from December 4-13. Tickets go on sale this Wednesday, June 25th at 10 am PT!" she writes.

This workaholic nature of Parton's is well documented. Back in May, she was inducted into the Country Hall of Fame. There, she reflects on her illustrious career and everything that it took to get to icon status. Dolly could've focused more on her life behind the scenes. However, these were sacrifices she was willing to make to accomplish her dreams.
"I've sacrificed time with family and friends. I gave up vacations for work without end. Twenty-four seven, 365, but I was willing to make that sacrifice. But empty or full, I've carried my pain. But you don't drink the water if you don't dig the well," Dolly says. "Grindstones and rhinestones have made up my life, and you ask, 'Was it worth the sacrifice?' Well, I reckon it was because I'm here tonight."
If she has nothing else in her life, she has her fans and she has her love of performing.
