The Unexpected Reason Riley Green Brings His Jeep On Tour With Him

As Riley Green tours from place to place for his Damn Country Music Tour, he also makes sure to bring along his Jeep. And not just to get around town.

Alongside all his touring equipment, you'll find Riley Green's Jeep coming along for the ride. When he's not doing important tour stuff, he appears to engage in a little hobby of his: collecting.

If Riley Green is touring near you, then you might want to visit your local flea market...

The "Worst Way" singer visited Country Countdown USA, where he explained his love of yard sales, flea markets, and collecting "interesting" items.

"I started bringing a jeep with me, so we can go to garage sales," he explained. He doesn't just aimlessly wander, however. He has a keen eye for specific objects.

"I look for old fishing tackle, wooden lures, I collect stuff like that. I look for old guitars and old tools."

Ultimately, if it's "interesting," he'll "pick it up."

So if you'd like to meet Riley Green up close, attend the local flea market or pitch up your own yard sale. Go through you grandpa's tackle box to see if you can find any goodies, too.

I do enjoy the mental image of Riley Green heading out when he's not performing to have a look around the local markets. I can't imagine the cool items he's found going around the country. He'll need to do a video showcasing his greatest finds soon.

Riley Green Misses Being A Regular Guy

Going to flea markets is a pretty 'normal guy' thing to do. However, he's not a regular guy all the time, which is something he missed.

And something he got to experience again when he lost his mustache. "I hurt a lot of people's feelings when I've shaved my mustache off. What's nice is I can walk around and nobody notices me," he admitted.

His fame has got a little out of control, however, prompting him to sell his Nashville property to get away from it all.

"It's not my favorite part of the industry," he said, commenting on the notoriety. "I miss being a regular guy. But it's a small price to pay for the opportunities I've gotten. I'm buying another place further out of town, and the neighbors are further away. I'm getting more land."
