Parker McCollum Gave Raising Cane's Customers A Taste Of His New Album Before Release

Parker McCollum has finally released his self-titled album, which is "one of the best" he's ever done. Leading up to the release, the Gold Chain Cowboy worked a 'shift' at Raising Cane's where patrons got a taste of his music early.

The Texas native had a great time on June 12 when he worked a shift at a Raising Cane's location in Austin. If you've been to any Raising Cane's location, you'll notice that they promoted the album pretty hard. But where Parker McCollum visited, they had him serving customers and treating them to a "VIP listening party of three unreleased songs," per a press release shared with WOC.

A video detailing the humorous and notable parts of his shift was shared to Instagram. He was smiles all around, whether he was treating customers with his music or putting the fries in the bag.

My favorite part of the video is when he interrupts the customers listening to his music to seek their validation like an excited kid. Gold Chain Cowboy? More like Golden Retriever.

You can watch the video below. It's short, sweet, and pretty funny. Just make sure to say "I'm an independent thinker" afterwards to offset any promotional influences.

Parker McCollum Shares How Important His New Album Is To Him

Parker McCollum shared some words about his album with Raising Cane's.

"I'm very self-reflective and super honest with myself and I try not to do anything inauthentic. I let it rip when I'm in the studio and try not to worry about things, but I was out of ideas for a while and this album became one of the best I've ever done," he said.

"I wanted to feel the buzz of making music and this album made me feel that again. The whole process was grueling, we recorded over the course of seven days in NYC and it reminded me why I love making music. As a songwriter, that's the greatest feeling, especially after wondering if I had lost that buzz. This album is the best that it's ever going to get for me."

He has really poured all of himself into this album. If you have yet to give him a try, there is no better time than now to have a listen.
