Kevin Spacey Looking to Make Big Comeback, Forgives Anyone Who "Rushed to Judgment"

One of Hollywood's most problematic actors is eyeballing his big comeback. For the uninitiated, Kevin Spacey has a plethora of sexual assault allegations under his belt. After the first one arose in 2017, people eventually found the courage to speak their truths as well. Even someone as high profile as Guy Pearce has had his experiences with the veteran actor.

Of course, all of these lawsuits piling up took an enormous financial toll on Spacey. It came to the point where he had nowhere to live, authorities foreclosing his house and selling it off. "My house is being sold at auction. So I have to go back to Baltimore and put all my things in storage," he says in June 2024. "I'm not quite sure where I'm gonna live now, but I've been in Baltimore since we started shooting House of Cards there."

Still, actors like Liam Neeson and Sharon Stone have been vocal in their support of Spacey. Consequently, he's keeping these people in mind now that he's trying to make his big return to acting. For those who judged against him, he may forgive but he's not going to forget and be friends.

Recently, he spoke at the Italian Global Series Festival, where he opens up about his mindset after all of his legal battles. There, he reveals that all the hardships have given him a sense of perspective. "These experiences have allowed me to stop, assess, reassess and listen, and be very grateful for the work I'm able to do both on screen and off screen," Spacey says.

"I'm filled with gratitude for those in my industry who stood by me, those individuals who were willing to wait for an outcome in the courts before they decided how they felt about me. Those people have my trust, and I will do everything I can to maintain their trust for the rest of my life," Spacey adds.

As far as anyone who didn't have his back in the same way, don't expect the actor to forgive and forget. He may do the former, but he won't do the latter and work with them again. "For those who rushed to judgment and decided I was guilty, and treated me accordingly, they have my forgiveness, but I am not seeking them out to collaborate," Spacey stresses.
