Per pagesix.com, "The 14-time Grammy winner, 35, wowed the crowd with a rendition of 'Shake It Off' at the 'Tight Ends and Friends' concert hosted by Travis Kelce in Nashville, Tenn...." Swift's longtime football-player beau, Kelce, launched that occasion as part of his Tight End University program.
It must have been a fun but wild scene. Swift addressed the crowd amidst all the intense hubbub. "We were up there, having some drinks and we were thinking 'How loud can this place get? Theoretically, how loud can the singing be in here? We planned that three minutes ago."
The other artists who performed included Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Sophia Scott, Chase Rice, Jordan Davis, and Graham Barham.
But it was clearly Swift who stole the show on that memorable day.
The Reason Behind Swift's Casual Gig Is Really Touching
An unnamed source spilled the beans about what actually motivated Swift to perform. Per Cosmopolitan via Daily Mail, "She thought it would be fun to perform and it made sure eyeballs were firmly on the Tight End University that Travis holds very close to his heart. Travis was there at so many of her shows and even took part. She is now repaying the favor."
That is really nice and certainly shows the kind of considerate person Swift is. Not to mention the depth of her feelings and relationship with Kelce. They really are a team!
It seems like Swift also wanted to make absolutely sure that the spotlight was not all on her. Per latimes.com, she kindly told the audience, "See, the one thing tight ends have in common with Nashville musicians is we're all friends, right? We would like to dedicate this to our favorite players, who are going to play."
